This is my first year here at Pickering High School.  I am currently teaching Statistics, Advanced Math, and Geometry.  Prior to this, I taught in Texas for 19 years.  I retired at the end of the 2020 – 2021 school year and moved to DeRidder, LA.  I would like to teach another 5-6 years here before retiring for good.

Prior to Pickering High School, I taught 11 years at Deweyville High School, 3 years at Central High School in Beaumont, 4 years at High Island High School, and 1 year at Memorial High School in Port Arthur.

My wife and I moved to DeRidder in January of 2021.  We have two grown children who live in Texas and Arkansas respectively.  We have 5 grandchildren.

When not at school, I enjoy jogging and fishing.  My wife enjoys junking and buying and selling antiques.
